Using the computer model, we calculate the optimum noise mitigation scheme for the project. For highways this may be a combination of noise barriers, low-noise road surfaces and traffic control schemes.

To European Standards

Using our model we can design noise barriers in detail taking into account their sound absorption and airborne sound insulation. This uniquely allows us to match our designs to actual barrier products on the market with acoustic performance certified to the current European Standards.

Performance Specification

All our design studies are presented in a detailed specification report giving the ‘before and after’ performance of the noise barrier scheme and specifying the barrier in terms of its type, performance, dimensions and structure to satisfy the planning requirements and standards.  

Liaison With Contractors

As independent consultants we can also provide contact details for recommended suppliers and installers who would be capable of complying with the specification. We will also provide a realistic budget costing based our unique experience of working closely with barrier manufacturers and installers for 15 years.
