Building a Clear Picture

Computer noise modelling enables us to predict how noise spreads from a road, rail or factory to its surroundings. We take into account all physical and topographical features, weather and ground conditions. By generating noise maps and contour plots, we can build up a clear picture of where the noise reduction is most needed.

Housing Developments

Noise models come in all shapes and sizes. We produce models for individual private homes or for complete housing developments to show how intrusive noise can be controlled at different floor levels, facades and garden locations.

Environmental Impact assessments

As part of an environmental impact assessment we also construct noise models for whole towns and villages to show how transport and industrial noise can by managed, and to assist in the design of complete noise mitigation systems for new transport networks and conurbations.
